Memphis-based First Horizon National Corp. has named John C.pton to its board of directors.
He also oversees thepany’s Power of One retail sales teams.

Previously,pton, 49, served as CEO of PepsiCo North America and president and CEO of Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade. He is on the executive council of Conservation International and is a member of the U.T. School of Business Administration’s Dean’s Advisory Board.
